Shining light on the unsaid

Passionate about intersectionality, Tate’s Fireside Chats have become an essential educational tool for organisations across the UK and beyond. He speaks candidly about his experiences as a “working‑class Essex boy who happens to be trans”, while raising awareness of key issues including rethinking masculinity, gender equality and social mobility.

His expertise includes transitioning in the workplace, inclusive language and allyship, and his writing brings these themes to life by amplifying the visibility of trans men.

Driving Social Change

  • Following the UK Supreme Court decision in April 2025, Tate deepened his commitment to inclusive storytelling by studying Screenwriting at the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama. He now works across a growing slate of projects that centre vital representation for trans+ people and reimagine modern masculinity.

Alongside his screenwriting, Tate has written op-eds for DIVA and HR Magazine, and shares weekly thought leadership on inclusion and belonging with his large LinkedIn audience.

  • Choosing to share his lived experiences over rigid training, Tate engages international audiences with an open approach that sheds light on the realities of living as a trans person and tackles taboo topics to spark vital conversations. From luxury hospitality to conferences and household brands, Tate's voice knows no bounds.

  • Tate has supported major corporations such as Clifford Chance and Anglo American in developing transgender policies, including adding top surgery to private healthcare insurance. He works with organisations of all sizes to create safer workplaces for trans+ people and also brings his expertise into healthcare through his advisory role on the NHS‑approved OBS UK Study. He has additionally advised the Science Museum on inclusive language in exhibitions, where his story is on display until 2033.
